About Arch Street
Our Mission
The mission of the Arch Street Teen Center is to provide Greenwich teens (and teens who are enrolled in a Greenwich school) in the 6th - 12th grades with a safe environment in which to connect and socialize with their peers.
Our Story
For three decades, Arch Street has served the teens of Greenwich by providing an awesome drug- and alcohol-free space where teens can connect and socialize, learn new skills, and relax and recharge.
Before 100 Arch Street was transformed into a teen center in 1991, the historic three-story building was used as a warehouse by the Department of Public Works. Thanks to the hard work of some local teens and their families, the generosity of our town, and Shope Reno Wharton Architects, Arch Street Teen Center became a reality.
The exposed red brick and bright, open-air space gives the center a true coffeehouse feel, requisite with vintage arcade games (such as Donkey Kong and Pac-Man), as well as foosball, ping pong, and restful nooks for teens to hang out.
The center boasts an impressive dance floor, a multi-level stage for performances, and a recording studio, rendering it a turn-key venue for its weekend socials, special musical events, and educational seminars.
We encourage parents and teens to tour our facility and meet our amazing leadership during one of our scheduled orientations.
