Code of Conduct
All participants must be registered in order to take advantage of the Arch Street offerings.
The Arch Street staff is unable to supervise teenagers who are not in the actual center. Students are required to sign in and out of the center upon arrival and departure.
Alcohol, drugs, tobacco products, vape pens, fighting, and/or weapons of any kind are prohibited in the center.
Students are expected to be kind and respectful to one another, as well as to the Arch Street staff and volunteers. Any bullying, disrespectful behavior, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
Participating in Arch Street events is a privilege and it is the responsibility of every participant to care for our building, games, and equipment.
No participants are allowed to leave by cab, Uber, or other ride service. All participants leaving a weekend event on foot must have permission by a parent or guardian to do so.
Cell phone use is discourages. Arch Street is an opportunity to be with friends—face to face!
Failure to abide by this Code of Conduct could result in removal, suspension, expulsion, or police involvement.
Eligibility
Arch Street Teen Center is a not-for-profit that serves students without regard to race, color, sex, age, residency, national or ethnic origin, religion, secual orientation, ancestry, or any other protected status.
To qualify for programs and events at Arch Street Teen Center, students must meet the criteria listed below. Otherwise qualified persons are not subject to discrimination.
Be in 6th - 12th grade (begin summer entering 6th grade through summer after high school graduation)
Be a resident of Greenwich or attend a Greenwich school.
Adhere to the Code of Conduct and respect staff and colunteers at all times.
Be able to function independently during programs and events AND communicate effectively with adults and other students.
Not require Arch Street Teen Center to make fundamental alterations to and/or disrupt the harmony of programs and events.
Not undermine the safety, volunteers, or themselves.
Arch Street Teen Center reserves the right to deny service at any time based on any of the aforementioned eligibility requirements, or for any other reason, including the actions of the student, parent, or guardian. These eligibility requirements are subject to change without notice, and are permanenetly posted on our website for review at any time.
Arch Street Teen Center reserves the right to suspend Arch Street Pass privileges, require community service to regain Pass privileges, or terminate an Arch Street Pass at the discretion of the Arch Street Teen Center staff.
