The College Board, the designers and administrators of the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT), announced a complete re-working of the ubiquitous college admissions exam. Every portion of the exam has changed including its approach to vocabulary, math and science.
In response, we teamed up with The Greenwich Education Group and hosted a seminar for parents entitled, “The New SAT and What It Means For You,” on Tuesday, April 7, 2015.
The seminar covered a range of topics including a comparison of the SAT and ACT exams, changes made to the SAT and how colleges will analyze students’ scores and the interplay of the SAT and the Common Core. Recent changes made to other college entry exams including the ACT, Advanced Placement Exams and the SAT 2 were also reviewed.
Here are a few photos from the seminar, morning and evening sessions.
