Eunice Burnett

Eunice is a dedicated wife, mother of three and active member of the Greenwich community. Her volunteer efforts have their primary focus on issues relating to children and environmental health. Eunice currently serves on several boards, including Audubon Connecticut and Arch Street, The Greenwich Teen Center, and in board advisory capacity at Greenwich Academy.

At Audubon, Eunice is currently serving as Vice-Chair of the Executive Committee as well as Co-Chair of the Benefit Committee. During her long association with Audubon’s board, she served as the founding Co-Chair of the Audubon-at-Home Committee and has been a committed supporter of Bird Friendly Communities, Audubon’s effort to enhance environmental sustainability to benefit the health and well-being of humans, birds and other wildlife. At Greenwich Academy, she served as a Trustee of the Board for five years, most notably as Chair of the Committee on Officers and as an active member of the Coordination Committee, a joint effort with the Board of Brunswick School. Eunice is also a sustaining member of the Junior League of Greenwich and took a leading role on several committees impacting the Greenwich community such as: Greenwich Environmental Task Force, Greenwich Recycling Advisory Board, Greening Greenwich, The Junior League’s Environmental Education Committee and The Greenwich Pool in Byram Park Committee.

A six-term Board Chair of Arch Street, Eunice continues to serve on the Board of Directors and provides tremendous guidance and support on issues facing the teen population of Greenwich. This year, Arch Street honors Eunice as recipient of the Christopher Haebler Frantz Award, in recognition of her outstanding service to Greenwich Teens. Through Eunice’s direct impact on teens at Arch Street, as well as her community environmental efforts and elsewhere, she is making Greenwich a better place for today’s and future teens.
