A native of North Carolina (hence the occasional southern twang), Kyle began his career in Hollywood where he worked on several feature and independent films.

Why did Kyle leave Hollywood behind? "I just find it easier and much more fulfilling to do my own thing even if it bombs," he  explains. "I  guess that goes  back to my idea that  I  take

chances. I mean, would you rather leave this world knowing you were fulfilled in doing your own deal, that you get to be truly creative for a while and called your own shots or knowing that you made a real nice pot of coffee for the Coen Brothers? In the end, we only have ourselves to answer to and if we feel like our lives aren't fulfilled for some reason, then we really can't point the finger at others."
